Michael has led the work of New Economics Foundation Consulting for close to a decade, developing NEF’s ideas to fit new markets and a broad range of organisations. As an exponent of new economy principles, he helps organisations to reimagine their strategies in the light of changing macro-economic conditions. As an economist, he is a practitioner and trainer in multiple approaches to measuring value for money. He has trained, and consulted with, a wide variety of organisations to help them measure their social, economic and environmental impact. As an organisational development practitioner, he has both developed and delivered tools (Happiness at Work survey) and processes (Well-Supplied) to bring wellbeing into the heart of business conversations and public sector decision-making.
