Juliane Reiber (Belgium). Director of , the European Sustainable Business Federation of seven national associations whose common aim is a new economic framework in which sustainability is promoted, the environment respected and ecological principles are followed. Ecopreneur.eu represents over 2000 sustainable companies – mostly SMEs.
Juliane Reiber is both the Managing Director of Ecopreneur.eu, European Sustainable Business Federation and the Cooperation Manager at UnternehmensGrün e.V., German Federal Association of Sustainable Business.
Juliane has been working in the field of green entrepreneurship, sustainability, and education for sustainability for more than 10 years, implementing change and working towards a transformation of society towards sustainability and green economy. To this end she is involving the societal areas of business, politics and education.
Her background is in environmental sciences and international environmental law. She studied at the University of Cologne (International Master of Environmental Science, M.Sc.), at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, USA, acquiring an additional Certificate in Environmental Management (Focus: International/European Environmental Law).
Juliane has implemented various projects in (vocational) education for sustainable development in several German federal states, focusing on green entrepreneurship. Also, with the European partners of UnternehmensGrün, she is working on cooperation projects focusing on Circular Economy, green startups, and green entrepreneurship.
Prior, she was working as a science editor and scientific assistance for a Member of the European Parliament.
