Leading international organizations from social and economic world such as Global Alliance for Banking on Values, OuiShare, B Corporation, Economía del bien común, Economics of Happiness, Fairtrade International,… and more than 30 local stakeholders such as International Union for the Conservation of Nature, FAECTA Cooperative Unions, Málaga University, Malaga City Council, Social Economy School among others have gathered together this week to start working jointly in NESI, the first New Economy and Social Innovation Global Forum to be held in Malaga (Spain) in the spring of 2017.

In this Thinking Session, key social and economic players from private, public and third sector of Andalusia and Spain have met in Malaga to address, at an early stage, the co-organization of the event.

Through group dynamics, we have deepened collaboratively on various issues:

• What topics should particularly address the event?
• What formats would encourage high participation of citizens?
• How to strengthen the forum and dialogue before, during and beyond April 2017?

In the afternoon, we could contact by videoconference with representatives of international organizations who have already expressed their interest and support in #NESIFORUM.

Thanks to the facilitation team driving event, the Global Hub for the Common Good and ecoemprende (local partner), these two days of intense work have been entertaining, funny, and above all, very productive!
